Big Bear Mountain Brewery and Restaurant is home to the finest hand-crafted beer, good food, and great entertainment. The Big Bear Mountain Brewery, established in 1996 by Don and Lil Wittman when they parked their Harleys and classic cars and set out for a new adventure in Big Bear, is truly one of a kind. Beer brewing began as a hobby that grew into a prospering business offering a wide selection of very distinctive micro-brewed beers. The beer is brewed on site by brewmaster Don, and the Big Bear Mountain Brewery offers an ever-changing seasonal brew lineup highlighting at least six homebrews each season that depict events in the Big Bear Valley. With the onset of autumn, the Oktoberfest Brew is one of the more popular seasonals— summertime, look for the Old Miners Gold commemorating the annual Old Miners Celebration in Big Bear. Other popular brews are the full flavored India Pale Ale, Scotch Ale, Red Ant Hill Red Ale or Mountain Pub Ale. The fragrance of the Orange Blossom will capture your senses! Also on draft for the tough and hardy are the Grizzly Bear and the Doppel Bock. Beer connoisseurs from all over the United States come to experience the talents of this brewmaster.
