Our local bitter, extremely popular in Devizes and district and available throughout the Wadworth trading area - light, refreshing and sessionable. An aroma of gentle malt with slight hoppiness combines with a good balance of flavours on palate, maltiness gradually dominating. There is a long-lasting after taste to match which eventually becomes biscuity. HENRY'S Original IPA is brewed from 92% pale malt, 6% crystal malt and 2% cane sugar. The bitterness units of 20-22 are obtained from Fuggles hops (80% of total) in the copper and Goldings hops (20%) on the hop back plates. Colour rating is 22.
