A fresh springtime beer, with a touch of grapefruit with floral and citrus notes on the nose. Crafted from Maris Otter malts and a combination of Northdown, Brewers Gold and Willamette hops. The next in our series of one-off beers is Castle Bitter. There was a Saxon castle at Brill as early as 650 AD. This was rebuilt in about 1050 by Edward the Confessor, but was abandoned in 1327.
