ours out in a clear deep reddish amber colour with a low firm bubbly off-white head. Rich caramely aroma of raisins and prunes. Ful-bodied with sweetish notes of caramelized sugar, prunes, raisins, caramel and a wee bit of hot alcohol. Long sweetish malty finish of prunes, fudge, burnt sugar and candied dark fruits. A sipper.
