Pours barely translucent mahogany with a thin head. Aroma delivers tart dark fruit, caramel and toasted malt. Flavor features tart dark fruit, chocolate, roast malt, caramel and woody hop notes. Mouthfeel presents good fizz and body. Je suis la vagabonde!

Long time wish list beer, worth the wait. Dark malty sour brew with a really nice berry aspect to the nose and especially flavor. Had the whole leather and tobacco thing going on, with blackberries and a hint of cherry in there too. Medium sour and funk. Good stuff. Gladit was made again.

Sampled at the Bruery Provisions on 6/4/2011. This wild ale pours a medium reddish amber color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and tart with a hint of cherry and blackberry. A medium bodied sour. The malts are fruity and sweet and tart, with some cherry flavors. The hops are herbal. Touch of wood, perhaps some funk. Nice balance. Despite all the tartness and funk this beer is still nicely smooth. The tartness increases as it warms. Very nice. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is tart and funky.
