750ml bottle, thanks to JPDurden24, pours with a striking murky amber body that has ruby red hues and supports a short lived tan head. The aroma offers up molasses sweetened oak, bourbon and then honey drizzled ripe apple like wafer thin fruitiness. The taste is smooth with soft bourbon notes, smooth thin molasses sweetened oak and slivers of vanilla. To midway mild sweet fruity esters come to the surface to add some depth. This is barrel forward but soft, smooth and allowing slivers of estery sweet beer notes to peak through now and then. A little less barrel time would have been nice.
