This rustic beer is the result of barrel aging a blend of our Anniversary, English-style old ale, with Smoking Wood, an imperial smoked rye porter. Bois Fumé, meaning 'Smoking Wood' in French, is pleasantly sweet with a dry, peaty finish

There's some warmth here, but no way do you taste over 16%. The sweetness of the Bois, and the Smoke in the SW balance each other pout, at least a little, and give you a beer that is similar to both but not as over the top as either. Great beer.
