An extremely smooth, creamy pint created from a perfect combination of traditional and modern brewing techniques. With a nutty roasted full-bodied flavour, classic hop aroma and crisp bitterness on the palate, Tetley's Smoothflow is smoother and creamier than traditional ales. It is served at 8ºC, which is 4ºC cooler than traditional ales in order to give extra refreshment.

Clear dark orange yellow with brownish lasting foam head, lipsticking and leavinf drinking rings. The foam head is blocking aroma, but the taste compensates that. A good bitter taste, nice long bitter aftertaste. (Immingwood 201212)

I tried this at Munchkins in London. Excellent looking . Low carbonation quite smooth with a mild flavor. Quite nice but not incredible. It paired well with the bangers and mash that I was having. the beer did not overpower the food but complimented the spices of the sausage vey well.

Not a fan of this one. The appearance was nice...a pretty red hue, but I found the flavour harsh and biting. I would not bother with this one again.

Draught@O’malleys (As Tetleys Original Bitter). Pale amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is rotten vegetables, mild wood and crap. Flavour is harsh grains, rubbery and harsh hoppyness.

This was an easy drinking bitter which went down extremely well. Priced very well. Poured a rusty red colour with a thin white foamy cap. A hop-laden aroma greeted my nose before I downed the well balanced brew with a chewy malt backbone and a nice bitter finish.

Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
March 24, 2010
I tried this beer on March 24, 2010 after purchasing from the singles bin at one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent red with orange hues and a creamy light tan coloured head. The aroma was very weak, but was mainly nutty malt. The mouthfeel is creamy, medium bodied, with mild carbonation. The flavour is nutty malt with some hints of caramel sweetness. -

Nice copper color, also nice to enjoy the view while we are pouring the beer thank's to the smoothflow system...Not much aroma and flavor quite on the light side nonetheless an honest beer on a hot afternoon while reading a good book...

This is a pleasant standard English bitter, nothing remarkable. I've had it from cask, keg, nitro widget can and non-widget can. Nitro version is also known as Tetley's Smoothflow.
