White waxed 750ml, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a hazy deep gold body that supports an off white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up whiskey and big oak notes that end in a bit of hot booziness. The taste is basically the same with lots of whiskey booze and spicy oak that is bubbling with booze that boarders on being harsh and hot. Wow. Did beer go into the barrel? I don’t understand it when a beer is crushed by the barrel treatment. Is that the goal?
