Barley Wine: Considered the Port Wine of the brewing world, this beer is BIG in every aspect. This very strong ale matures and changes with time, offering a rich complexity, not usually associated with beer. Many commercial products are even vintage dated to help manage stock. Because of its high alcohol content and rich character, it will be served, only in snifter.

An interesting English Barleywine, slightly buttery and rather fruity. Milder hops, good maltiness (although it was a bit odd, I must say). Laced well with a nice cap of head that hung around for some time, especially for a B-wine.
