This is a classic English ale. The malt is a heritage barley varietal named Chevalier, which was grown in England in the 1800s. Fortunately, some of the original seed was saved and a small malthouse in England has grown small quantities. We were fortunate to get our hands on some. We added beautiful floral English hops and yeast from a small brewery in Yorkshire, which produces lovely peach and cherry flavors. A beer worthy of a King or Queen.

Had the cask version. Taps opaque dark honey golden with a nice eggshell head. Aroma features peach, dark fruit, fresh malt, and subtle hoppy tones. Flavor delivers all these while upping the malt character some. Mouthfeel has fair body and fizz. Regal!
