This ale is a special beer brewed for Sacramento Beer Week. This is our version of the golden session ales of England, done American style! Featuring Maris Otter malt, this beer has an interesting bready malt backbone and a bright crisp finish from the use of whole cone American hops.

a decent bitter, but not a standout. sessionable? yes, but everything is a little too muted for my taste. slightly bitter in the back end with ight hops and malt, semi sweet, and a touch watery. not bad...and i admittedly liked it a little less than a couple others in our party.
