Bakewell Best Bitter is a robust amber coloured ale. It is dry and firmly bitter, with some roasted malt flavours and plenty of grassy hops. Great with – Crisps, savoury snacks and bold, strong flavours like stew or a Ploughmans Cheddar. Bakewell Best Bitter possesses strength of character that will carry it proudly aloft in the company of the most complex and flavoursome dishes. Notable fan – The Reverand William Eardley, vicar of Holmesfield, has been known to enjoy a Bakewell Best Bitter after a busy morning in the pulpit.
