33cl bottle courtesy of sebletitje, thanks Sebastian! I poured a little too much out and had a small stream of dark sediment enter the glass following the beer (wow, the label even states to pour carefully. It is a shame I didn’t take note of that sooner). As a result it has a slightly hazy deep copper body that supports a full cobweby tan head of foam. The aroma offers up blunted floral and plum notes as well as raisins and dates blended with a sherry like sensation. The taste is growing on me. It tries to be hoppy at times and also gets sweet and estery at other times. I get slivers and shards of bitter pine and floral hops amid a sea of sweet malts, sugar dusted prunes and figs as well as sherry and booze nuanced maltiness. All in all this is a pretty nice sipper.
