Sampled on 9/30/2011. This bitter pours a medium orange gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention. The aroma is caramel and sweet, with a touch of herbal hops. A light to medium bodied bitter. The malts are toasty, caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and slightly spicy. Touch of tea. Decent carbonation. Nice balance. Definitely a session style ale. Malty, mild and sweet, with a touch of hops and a nice dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, dry and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
