The strong, robust aroma was very apparent when the bottle was first opened. I like the looks of the deep red shade that the beer poured-a nice head and long lasting lacing around the edge of the glass. The taste was strong as well....but not unpleasant and well worth a try.

Deep red/mohagony color topped by a medium thick head and lasting lace. Sweet malty aroma with a hint of spiciness and licorice. Sweet malty flavor with a slight spicy finish and a hint of hoppiness. medium to full bodied and slightly warming.
