Pint can pours with a dirty mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up boozy toffee as well as dates, plum and then sherry like notes. The taste delivers sweet slick boozy malts as well as a blend of sweet toffee and brandy like sherry notes. To midway the barrel goodness bubbles to the surface with smooth subtle bourbon and rye like bossiness leading into subtle smooth cherry and plum like fruitiness. Nice smooth drinking brew.
