The Pucker is our first seasonal beer, a new approach to a bitter for those seeking a bit of adventure. With a deep golden colour and a sweet malt introduction, the Pucker is perfect for cold winter nights. But beware, this beer is no pushover. Ingredients: Pilsner and melanoiden malts, a blend of Chinook, Cascade and Columbus, water and yeast. Availability: Winter season

reviewed Apr.2015. Mini growler from the brewery. Pours a small frothy head and has a clear pale golden appearance. Weak lacing. Average carbonation. Aromas of sweet malts and a bit grainy. Flavours are piney and grassy hops, some bitterness on the palate. Also some earthy hops and hints of caramel malts. Somewhat of an astringent and oily mouthfeel. Not too bad.
