Aroma is of sherry and oak, your typical aged notes ... very tan and murky ... mouthfeel is pretty much a mess .. old dominates here, some chocolate and rum ... tasted strange, warming up doesn't really help.. i could have done without .. age 20 years? this was 5 years old and had trouble...

Bottled (2004 vintage). Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is plum, raisins, alcohol as well as some wood and vanilla. Flavour is vanilla, wood, oak, caramel malts, alcohol and a bunch of raisins. Also some strange licoriceish raisiny notes. Quite sweet brew, good for sipping, but not for drinking any faster at all. Wellbalanced.
