This is our take on the classic best bitter, but with increased flavour – not bland and boring like most. It is a firm favourite with many drinkers around Somerset and a popular choice for events of all sizes. An amber fruity beer, full of malty flavour and a bitter finish. An interesting blend of Pale, Lager, Munich, Crystal and Wheat malts give a rich malt profile, coupled with Marynka and Hallertauer Northern Brewer hops to give a classic profile that is enhanced with continental spiciness. English yeast works the rest of the magic.

Bottled (thanks hanniku!). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, caramel, floral notes as well as some some slight yeasty notes. Flavour is mild fruityness, some slight pine, mild floral notes as well as a touch of yeast. Mild grassyness in the finish as well.
