Picked up a growler on my way home from donating platelets, so I had to wait for a day before opening it. Clear, coppery gold without a head. Sweet orange and grapefruit peel scents, mango and apple. Even so, I didn't expect such a hoppy brew: orange peel predominates, though there's some good balance in sweetness, clean and fresh. Barely a tingle to this one, it's smooth and heavy. But for the feel, it might almost have passed for an IPA.
