Like its draught cousin this is a full strength all-malt brew, made from Maris Otter malted barley and East Kent Goldings hops. In terms of personality it knocks other smooth ales into a cocked hat. But we could say the same about a lot of out ales.

Just love how this beer settles with this creamy foam head. I just love these British foam heads. Muffling aroma, but decent bitter English beer taste. (Manchester 201501)
