This beer has a deep amber to ruby color. Big nose of maltose (malt milk balls), caramel, ripe fresh figs, pears and overripe red apples. Honey, nuts and toasted aromas also. Sweet toasty malt flavors up front, then some dry fig notes. The body is very thick and creamy.

12oz bottle, a very full 12oz bottle. Dark amber color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is malt, banana, molasses and brown sugar. A full-bodied barley wine. Malts are fruity, cherries, bananas, pears, brown sugar and very sweet. There is a touch of a lactic quality as well. Very sweet barleywine. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
