February's special beer is dark, distinctive and eminently drinkable. Dark ruby in appearance with a hoppy nose and subtle hints of coffee. The taste is dry and very complex. Dark malts and plenty of high bittering hops (Admiral, Horizon, Hercules and Nugget) combine to give a whiff of coffee and toffee with an alluring, long, hoppy finish.
