"after having the awesomeness that was ADAM from the Wood, I was looking forward to this one. It was a nice beer, but did not improve on the base beer one bit, IMO. The bourbony fruity aroma and flavor were nice, and the smoothness hid the abv incredibly well, but the complexity is nearly gone, and apparently there were carbonation issues with some 11 batches, so it was close to flat. still good, just not a giant leap like AFTW was."

Obtained and shared by a close friend on his recent trip to the Pacific Northwest. Amazing right out of the gate with a strong aroma, great appearance and huge mouth feel. Leather, wood, chewing tobacco, vanilla, berries, toffee, oat bran, bourbon and then some. Insane depth and delectable flavors. Rich and bold with a silky smoothness.
