Pours a dark orange/amber. Off-white head with a heavy foam, some bubbling. Aromas of toasty amber malts, some vegetative hop notes. An interesting copper/metal hint that reminds me of Fuggles-driven English ales. Tastes of chewy malt, spicy herbal hop, touch of honeycomb, with a late hop kick & bitterness. Full body, good malt mouthfeel which lingers, but not cloying.
