12oz bottle. Pours a brownish tea color with a small creamy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is nutty caramel malts and some cola and fruity hops with a little chocolate and alcohol.

The flavor is sweet nutty chocolate malts, molasses and a touch of fruits followed by a good sized bitterness in the finish that has some alcohol but doesn't feel like 11%. The mouthfeel is pretty full bodied with low but smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice barley wine. It has a lot going on and has some nice aspects. It just doesn't stand out for me and it doesn't all seem to mesh well together.

cool label .. pours with some foam, soap like but constant .. . nice stuff, very mellow, abv is done right .. . burnt toffee, chocolate cherry skin, and other dark flavours .. . would age gracefully .. . Brooke shields is gorgeous .. brew would go well with baby back ribs, ..bbq sauce!

I liked this one. Smells of sugar and malt on the nose. Appears light brown with no head at all. Little carbonation but finish is nice with a close to full body mouthfeel. Flavor is spicy with raisins and plum notes.

Pours with a dark brown-red body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s sweet and malty yet hoppy with a slight grapefruit note and a touch of alcohol. Full bodied, warming and smooth.
