“Ellie’s Red” was Originally brewed for our Pub brewer’s daughter, Gabrielle, in honor of her first birthday in 2002. We aged the second half of this double batch with oak chips. This gives the beer a spicy complexity which mellows the sweet, malt character and adds a drier finish to this hoppy red ale.
