12oz bottle pours with a plum mahogany colored body that supported a short lived near white ring of bubbles. The aroma offers up plums and sweet raisins as well as an earthy dirt note and thin wafers of vague boozy spirits. The taste begins with that sweet dark fruitiness of plums, figs and raisins. It then pushes into a faint tannin like red wine sensation mixed with boozy cognac. Interesting but not altogether in a good way. Decent sipper.
