Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Sampled on 8/20/2011 at Beer Revolution. This bitter pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, cereal and citrusy. A medium bodied bitter. The malts are fruity, cereal and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. Nice carbonation. Decent balance. There is a touch of sweetness at the start, which gets balanced by the lingering hops. A mild bitterness but its all though the beer. Very drinkable session ale. A lot of flavor for a 4.1% beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
