    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Bottled (from Alko, Vaasa). Rubyish amber colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee, quite sweet alcohol as some very sweet fruity and floral hops. Flavour is sweet malts, some alcohol, fruity and floral hops, mild toffee and also some rather grassy hops towards the finish. Quite much burning alcohol and riped fruits in the aftertaste.

Sampled on 6/18/2010. This barley wine pours a medium orange gold from a 30cl bottle. Medium sized off white foamy head, with decent retention and ok lacing. The aroma is bready and fruity, with a touch of alcohol. Medium bodied barley wine. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of caramel and bready. The hops are floral and herbal. A fairly noticeable alcohol bite mostly at the finish, yet it is still fairly smooth tasting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a pronounced alcohol bite.
