Orange gold color, slightly hazy. Small white foamy head. Aroma is apple, caramel and sweet. A medium bodied barley wine. Malts are fruity and sweet. Very grapefruity, but not in a hop grapefruity sort of way. If that makes any sense. Very smooth, and not your typical Pac NW Barley wine. Mostly malty and sweet, hints of candy and toffee. Nicely balanced. Hides the 8.5% alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Has a cloudy copper color to it with little if any head. Had a caramel corn aroma to it and the body followed much the same though tasted more like melted caramel candy. A solid solid beer.

This barley wine pours with a deep amber body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and malty with nice spicy notes, caramel notes and a touch of alcohol. The flavor is sweet and malty with lots of candy notes and a touch of alcohol. Full bodied, warming and smooth.
