Old Wagg is a fine crisp, easy to drink, pale bitter of 4.0% ABV. The recipe uses Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt with Amber Malt and a small amount of Crystal Malt. This blend gives a balanced dry malt fullness. The hops used are a blend of Fuggles & Challenger for a pleasing hop character with Goldings added late in the boil for a pleasing aroma.
