Tasted at the 4th Annual Bistro Barrel Aged Beer Fest on 11/14/2009. This abbey triple pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, yeasty and bretty. A medium bodied triple. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and spicy. Lots of the tart, musty, funkiness going on here. Lively carbonation. Seem to change from sip to sip as well, the only constant is the tartness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is tart, vinous and funky.
