Lulach – our latest concoction. A 4% very pale ale. Amber malt gives a touch of nuttiness, whilst fuggles and aurora hops give a pleasant balance. An excellent beer suitable for any occasion at any time of year. Lulach was the stepson of Macbeth, and reigned Scotland for less than six months. He is sometimes called “The Fatuous”, possibly because of his short reign, or because he was lured to his death in Strathbogie, at the hands of Malcolm Canmore “per dolum” – through treachery!
