Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a clear copper colored body that supports a thing ring of off white bubbles of foam. The aroma offers up booze, bourbon, oak and then murmurs of malts and dark fruity esters. The taste delivers smooth sweet slick malts ringed thinly by sweet honey drizzled fig and plum like sweet dark fruity esters. To midway a moderate level of barrel character begins to move forward with a smooth note of supple bourbon leading to growing booziness. In the background are modest spicy oakiness creating a little more depth. Nice sipper.

Bottle: Poured a caramel brown with bubble khaki head. Aroma is boozy, dark fruits, toffee, oak, caramel. Taste is boosty, bourbon, vanilla, toffee, caramel, dark fruit, rich malts.
