Monster 29 was born on the 36th Anniversary of the wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald, and is in memory of the 29 men that perished aboard the ship on Lake Superior. It is described as an Imperial Barley Wine made with 13 different malts, 10 different fermented sugar combinations, and other special ingredients. It is very complex in flavors and finished with 42 degrees plato OG.

Dark brown, murky. Low carbonation. Sweet leaning strong ale/barleywine. Toffee, caramel and dark fruits. Hops are overshadowed, but present. A drinkable brew for one so strong. A good sipper.
