Rated in Dec. 2009. Pours deep amber with copper hues and thin tan head. The aroma is very sweet with dark fruitiness coming from berries, sweet currants, cherries, plums, prunes and a modest berry skin earthiness. The taste I sweet and smooth with all the notes noted in the nose. The dark fruitiness blends smoothly into modest citrus candy notes, berry notes and a modest background to earthiness.
