Rated in 2010. Big thanks to tpd975 for hooking me up with this new offering. Growler pours murky chocolate copper with tan head. The mild aroma sends out sweetness that is vaguely dark and fruity with hints of vanilla and caramel infused sweet booze. The taste has a slick sweet feel to it bringing up modest brandy sweetness and a faint sense of wood amidst dark fruity ester sweetness and sweet citrus hop flavor. It ends with a mild sense of hop bitterness and a sliver of dryness coming from roasted malts.
