    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

50cl bottle pours with a deep mahogany brown colored body that supports a short lived tan head. The aroma offers up date and prune dark fruity ester goodness followed closely by caramel and molasses like reduced sugars. Around the edges of the nose lurks a modest boozy bourbon character. The taste begins smooth and a touch slick sweetness as dates and sugar stewed plums start things off. Toward midway mild notes of caramel and molasses add just the right touch of faintly scorched sugars. Into the finish a thin warming boozy bourbon note helps close out the experience and create a counter to the sweetness going on here. This is balanced, integrated, smooth and a terrific sipper. Wow.
