Rated in 2012. 750mL bottle pours a murky mahogany body supporting a tan head of foam. The aroma is big, bold and rich inviting goodness as it initially offers up freshly melted toffee and then some molasses, graham cracker, a mild smooth boozy bourbon and then chewy brown sugar coated prunes soaking in a bourbon bath. The taste delivers up a rich drool inducing nectar like flavor coming from molasses, brown sugar covered prunes and then moving into smooth rich sugary bourbon booze. I was told well before trying this that it drinks smooth as if it has already been cellared for a while. True. This is oh so smooth and delicious. Right now this isn’t Midnight Sun M good but maybe it will be there soon. Dandy stuff!
