75cl bottle, courtesy of Retorp, pours with a brown to amber colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up malts and molasses and then thin notes of stewed prunes smooth boozy brandy and then more residual sugars into the end of the draw. The taste delivers smooth deep richness that’s molasses drizzled prunes and dates and then slick malts heading into smooth sweet soft brandy. Midway and toward the finish the booziness rises up to create and also help force a sipping experience. Wow. Nice sipper where some spicy oak comes to the surface now and then.
