Thanks to markwise for this Cheers! The 12oz bottle pours with an amber hued body supporting a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up prunes and dates and sweet hard candy like raisins. Behind those notes I get a mix of molasses and faint boozy possibly cognac barrel aging notes. The taste is similar with a great mix of prunes and dates and brown sugar to molasses sugary sweetness. The sweet dark fruity esters work really well here heading into a sweet boozy cognac like sensation into the finish. Great sipper. Yum!
