    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Pours hazy amber with a creamy and rather fine-bubbled eggshell head. Crisp aroma has malty and apple notes, a subtle alcohol nip. Flavor is bold, bold, bold - powerful alcohol bite that assaults the palate but does not smother the malty and apple notes, and leaves a hint of brandy. Texture has average body, but some good fizz. Catch the mania!

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

11.2 oz bottle. Pours very hazy amber gold with a smallish off white head that goes to a thin film and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet bready malt with dark fruit and some booze and cola. Kind of like a fruit cake.

The flavor is sweet bready caramel malt with dark fruits and lots of hot booze and then a medium bitter finish that's a bit medicinal. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nice English barley wine. It's like a sweet boozy fruit cake.
