YULEWINE IS BIG AND UNCOMPROMISING ENGLISH STYLE BARLEY WINE MADE FROM 100% CERTIFIED ORGANIC INGREDIENTS. WHEN POURED IT WILL EMBRACE YOU WITH ITS RUM€LIKE NOTES FROM DARK SUGAR ADDED TO THE KETTLE. MODEST HOPING TAKES THE BACKSEAT TO MOUTH FILLING MALT CHARACH TER CHASED BY WARMING ALCOHOL. ENJOY IT AT CELLAR TEMPERATURE AFTER A GOOD MEAL NOW OR KEEP IS FOR A FEW YEARS AS IT WILL IMPROVE FOR YEARS TO COME.

Strong, somewhat candy-like aroma has notes of caramel, cloves and malt. Pours a fairly clear chestnut with a fairly thick light buff head that leaves OK lacing. Flavor has candy sweetness and notes of caramel, horehound and cloves with hints of malt and hops. Smooth texture has average fizz and body, not too shabby. Yule probably enjoy this one if you like barley wines.

@CPH BF 2011. Amber colour, no head. Aroma is vegetables, hops, alcohol, some slight nectar and honey as well. Flavour is quite much the same. Big, but not disturbing, notes of alcohol. Still quite balanced.
