A custom blend of the beers of Bear Republic, Cuvee de Bubba is refermented in oak wine barrels using only the wild micro flora and fauna native to the Alexander Valley. A bouquet of stone fruits with a complex flavor profile of malt, tobacco, and cherry pie sourness.

A pleasant but unspectacular sour from a brewer I like quite a bit. Fruity and tart, not too sour. Floral too, with an odd herbalness more fitting to a saison. Quaffable and refreshing, though kind of a beginners sour. 2nd try in 2014 waaaay better. Oaky as hell, pretty sour. 3.6/4.2
