This was the original beer using organic ingredients first brewed in 2001. There have been a number of changes in the recipe which has sometimes been down to availability of ingredients but thankfully organic malt and hops are more reliable and readily available now. This is a very full bodied golden bitter with peaches on the nose and palate with a spicy finish. All organic pale malt in the mash tun and then organic First Gold in the copper. I add the bulk of the hops at the beginning of the boil but I like to add some half an hour from the end and then add the last hops at the end of the boil.
