Purchased at Marché Omni in Aylmer, QC (single bottle). Pours a dark mahogany-copper colour with an off-white medium head that leave good lacing. Scent of burnt malt, dark fruits, nuts and mild caramel. Medium-bodied with a little stickiness, but more on the thin side. Pretty much the same for the taste, as the aroma, with notes of smoke in the finish. The brew gets hazy at the last pour. Pretty decent overall, but not really a fan of Scotch ales.
