Pours opaque chocolate brown with a thin buff head. Aroma has caramel and - surprise! - bourbon-soaked wood notes. Flavor has a fierce alcohol bite that nevertheless lets through arty, caramel, and bourbon tones. Watch out, this is for the bold and the brave ONLY! Viscous texture has some good fizz. A killer!

Red waxed 12 ounce bottle that runs a small fortune pours an attractive dark brown and a ample carbonation. Bourbon forward aromas with notes of malt and dark fruits in the background. Complex as hell, running the gamut from oak/vanilla from the barrels to brown sugar, molasses, candied dates, and alcohol. This is rather remarkable and easy drinking, even at its high ABV (and price point.)
