11.2 oz bottle pours with a murky sediment laden molasses colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up an intricate array of notes such as figs, dates, malts, molasses nuanced oak and thin sherry like plum. The taste delivers smooth silky malts, molasses covered blunted oak, sweet figs and dates. To midway a little more oak surfaces along with plum like sherry and well restrained booziness. Solid sipper but it lacks the depth and blended nuance of the best from the style.
